Hey, thanks so much for stopping by my page!
I love stories, substance, but I also love simplicity. I really enjoy reading the work of prolific writers who have found a worthy cause to champion. I grew up in Nairobi, Kenya and moved to the United States when I was 19 years old. We had an amazing childhood, but it all soon fell apart into many heartbreaking chapters, followed by decades of a steady difficult climb for my healing and remaking.
Today, I am a Christian writer, Bible teacher and the Founder of JosiahKids Incorporated, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to the mission of educating, empowering, and equipping young students and TEENS in the local community in the areas of faith, leadership, community service and the arts.
I have worked for a handful of companies, including The Coca-Cola Company and Anaplan, where my role has been mainly to make the lives of senior leaders just a bit more manageable. Yet no matter what I have done, my deepest passion and highest Joy is The Living God. Our love goes back to a high school dorm room (Yala) where He rescued me. A dramatic story that would leave your eyes wide open would better explain why I am fully His, and Him fully mine. Some of my studies include: a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Education, A Master of Divinity (MDiv), and a Master in Leadership.
My motivation for writing is to leave something of substance for our upcoming generation much like the writings of men like (F.B. Meyer, C.H. Spurgeon, and John Piper) who have nourished, challenged and inspired me.
When I am not devouring the sacred writings of the Bible, I am probably reading a book, soaking in the performing arts, eating something delicious (with avocado of course), or enjoying good company with friends and family.
I have been married to the kindest, most amazing man (Newton) for 14-years now. We live a simple life, a little North of Atlanta where we are raising our most delightful daughters; Joy and Journey.
Check-in often and be nourished.

For His glory!
Journey well.
